I think from the point of cloning humanity (as a whole) can be useful, but it may not.
Useful, if used on living things other than humans, and for good purpose and not detrimental.
For example: To save the species from extinction, to improve the food chain, and so on.
So suppose scientists began cloning the male and female Sumatran tiger before they become extinct, so ultimately avoid extinction Sumatran Tiger.
UNETHICAL useless and, if used in humans for any reason.
For example:
Clone a human would just be people who are geniuses, handsome, gorgeous, etc. (which is perfect physically and psychologically). What will happen if the earth is filled with people like that? Surely there would be complete chaos.
1. Because the natural balance disrupted (ideally a good man and there is no evil, etc.)
2. How to determine the standard of beauty / handsomeness if all gorgeous and handsome, even many who have exactly the same face?
3. Homogenization will happen (many people look the same (identical), including the nature, advantages, disadvantages, etc.). Though not every human being should be a bona fide mind, intellect, personality, physical, mental and unique and different from each other? What is the difference between humans and robots if everything is identical.
4. Crimes committed will be more sophisticated as all criminals have a genius brain.
In conclusion, if committed against human cloning, in terms of humanity it is only going to make people's lives more miserable.
